Here is the Product Announcement in full:
WESTFIELD, Massachusetts –– Savage Arms is proud to introduce the new 110 Timberline. This dynamic tack-driver is the newest member of Savage’s new Backcountry Xtreme Series—a line of rifles built to the preferred specifications of the most demanding hunters. The 110 Timberline, with its RealTree Excape camo, fluted barrel, and protective Cerakote® coating, is built for high climbs, long shots, and a lifetime of performance.
“Our team at Savage is enjoying developing the new models in the Backcountry Xtreme Series,” Jessica Treglia, Sr. Brand Manager at Savage Arms, said. “We can test new limits in hunting and grow our product line to build the rifles our customers want—like this new 110 Timberline. This is a versatile hunting rifle that delivers outstanding long-range accuracy, and it can stand up to anything.”
The 110 Timberline’s stock is finished in RealTree Excape, a pattern well suited for high elevation hunts along the edge of the evergreens. The barrel, receiver and other critical parts are protected against corrosion and harsh terrain by an olive drab Cerakote finish.
Like the other rifles in the Backcountry Xtreme series, the 110 Timberline comes with Savage’s AccuFit™ technology. This allows for easy adjustments to length-of-pull and comb height. The 110 Timberline’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger™ can be dialed in as low as 1.5-pounds, or as high as 4 pounds. The factory blueprinted Savage 110 action is bedded along its entire length with Savage’s innovative AccuStock™ system.
The 110 Timberline will debut in 11 different short and long action chamberings, and the guns will be built in both right-hand and left-hand configurations. The 110 Timberline will be available at your local dealer by the end of December 2020.
